Euromillions categories and prizes

Categories

In Euromillions, 50% of the collected money is destined to prizes and there are 13 different prize categories. The bets that match the following "numbers" and "stars" are awarded prizes.

First category: Bottoms and Boats

A Guaranteed Fund of 15 million € is established for the first draw of each cycle. If there is no winner of the first category, the amount of the Guaranteed Fund will increase as a Jackpot the prize fund of the first category of the following draw and so on. A cycle is understood to be the set of draws held until there is a winner of the first category of Euromillions or until the jackpot reaches the ceiling of 185 million euros initially, which will be increased by 5 million euros each time a cycle begins, provided that in the previous cycle the ceiling in force at that time had been reached.

Rest of categories

If in a draw there is no winner in a category other than the highest category, the prize money for that category will be allocated to the prize category immediately below for that draw. However, if there are no winners in the lowest prize category (2+1★), the prize money for that category will go to the highest category in the next EuroMillions drawing.

Prize fund

With the amount of the sale destined to prizes of all the countries, a unique fund is formed that will be distributed among all the winners of all the countries participating in Euromillions.
