National Lottery is one of the most popular games in Spain and one of the most important prize games. It is a passive game, with a centenary tradition and it is one of the most popular games. In each draw, two five-digit numbers are drawn to determine two winning prizes of different amounts. In addition, a fraction and a series of the ticket are drawn to determine the Special Prize. It depends on the draw. For Thursday draws the price is always 3 Euros, for Saturday draws the normal price is 6 Euros, except for special and extraordinary draws.
National Lottery drawings are held on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Drawings are held every Thursday at 9:30 pm and Saturday at 1:20 pm.
It is played by buying one or several National Lottery tickets, it consists of matching 5 numbers plus the series and the fraction. The tenth is the necessary document to participate in the draws. In each drawing the numbers from 00.000 to 99.999 are played. The drawings are held on Thursdays and Saturdays, with the largest prize amounts on Saturdays. Each one of the numbers is divided in series, depending on the type of drawing, for the Saturday drawing 10 series, for the Thursday drawing 6 series. These series are divided into 10 tenths, the fraction identifies each of the 10 tenths of the same ticket.

The raffle can be held by the traditional system consisting of one drum for numbers and another one for prizes. By the system of multiple drums, which consists of five or more drums, with the designation of units, tens, hundreds, etc. Each drum contains 10 balls, from 0 to 9, except for the one corresponding to the higher order units, which will contain as many balls as necessary according to the total number of tickets to be drawn. Drawings are held weekly, on Thursdays and Saturdays, and exceptionally several extraordinary drawings are held each year.
